Overview

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Inventory Control Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring and maintaining all inventory control related activities within the Distribution Center to ensure all processes and procedures are followed and are within compliance standards.

 

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: 

  • Coordinate and oversee the daily cycle count process to ensure inventory accuracy within the established standards. 
  •  Analyze and reconcile all variances reported from the daily cycle count process and those reported from daily operations in a timely manner. 
  • Perform weekly random inventory audits as an additional tool to ensure inventory related activities and practices are being followed in accordance to all established procedures. 
  •  Identify any procedural/process trends that negatively impact inventory accuracy and communicate accordingly so proper action can be taken. 
  •  Monitor, maintain, and update all Oracle inventory related and departmental reports to ensure inventory accuracy at all times on a daily basis.
  •  Perform necessary inventory reconciliation and adjustments for items that are due to picking or replenishing errors to ensure inventory accuracy within HADC.
  •  Run the Oracle HL Expiring Lot Report to determine lot control products that require disposal.
  •  Process Distributor Receipt transactions for all items to be returned to stock to update inventory management system.
  •  Provide full inventory support to Sales Center and other centers as assigned or requested to ensure inventory accuracy at all times. 
  • Responsible for coordinating sku rework
  • Responsible for updating Agile with rework completion information
  • Travel to other Herbalife Distribution Center locations when necessary to assist in any inventory related function. 
  • Responsible to report any safety hazards, unsafe working conditions or suspicious activities/people to Manager, security, safety committee member or any management team member.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area keeping a constant watch for any safety issues.
  • Responsible for all planning and re-supplying assigned QRCs, DCs and SCs as required.
  • Responsible for receipt process for all inbound vendor PO’s, non-Inventory receipts and inbound re-supply orders.
  •  Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent initiative, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Read, write and understand English with good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively and positively in a rapidly changing warehouse environment.
  • Computer Office Skills (i.e., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Email)

 

Experience:

  • 4 years’ experience in warehousing with extensive knowledge of warehousing operations as it relates to Inventory Control functions.
  • Knowledge and experience with Inventory Management Systems.

 

Education:

  • High school education or GED equivalent.
  • Successfully completed a forklift safety class and is certified to operate and maintain this certification.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bi-lingual skills (Spanish/English).
  • 2 years higher education
  • Ability to carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity.
  • Ability to function as an effective team member and work well in a moderately stressful environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with Oracle 11i Inventory Management System major plus.
  • Prior experience with Radio Frequency Bar Coding systems a plus.
  • Clean, neat, organized and alert.
